For example, a trunk with many large knotholes usually fetches a lower price than a trunk that does not have these characteristics. We also sort into different classes according to quality. A common division is into classes: A, B, C and D, where A is the highest quality class and D the lowest. The rustic BC grades are perceived as more dynamic, wild and characteristic. The high quality A is more monotonous and uniform in color and wood gradient.
